Our acquisition service is comprehensive and includes mission analysis, finance, budget preparation, model selection, valuation, contract negotiation, survey and delivery. We coordinate the whole process including setup of ownership structures, legal advice and aircraft registration.
Once the consultancy is complete we narrow down a short list of aircraft only, by making a detailed comparison of the available aircraft, their features, hours, history and finding which specification that is most suited to the requirements. If it is necessary to change registration, or make changes to exterior paint or the interior soft goods (i.e. carpets, leather, sidewalls) or paint, we make a plan to coordinate this work after delivery.
Business Jet Purchase
The negotiation of the transaction for either pre-owned or new aircraft is a process we are very familiar with and we will do on behalf of our clients. Once the client decides on a specific aircraft we draft and submit the Letter(s) of Intent. Once a deal is agreed in principle, Purchase Agreements are then negotiated and drafted by the Seller and/or Av8 jet.
Whether VAT is applicable if bought within the EU is dependent upon whether it is sold by a VAT registered entity or a Private Individual. Furthermore, if purchased outside of the EU, it will need to imported when it first arrives in the EU. This is something that we can assist with.
Completion & Delivery
For pre-owned and new aircraft we arrange a maintenance company to confirm that the aircraft is in conformance with the purchase agreement specification and that all systems are serviceable. Additionally aircraft document, records, VAT status, status of any liens and title checks need to be confirmed.
At acceptance, our services typically entail attending the handover, ensuring that the new registration application is made and temporary registration (fly-wire) received, export documents (if required) and insurance are in place and all aircraft documents and loose equipment present and correct. The aircraft is almost certain to require a ferry flight to home base and we are happy to make arrangements for this which include a multitude of logistics, handling, fuelling and crew arrangements.
Operation & Management
Utilising an aircraft management firm is appropriate for those that want to purchase and use a business aircraft but do not want to assume the day-to-day responsibilities of managing it.
av8 jet don’t operate aircraft for hire and reward (charter) ourselves but do provide both management operations, whereby our private or company owners can contract with us to perform most of the operational duties associated with aircraft, including all requisite support services, operational day to day flight planning, catering, fuelling and handling, parking and hangarage, reviewing/paying invoices, retaining and training crew, maintenance oversight etc.
